Programme Content & Delivery
The Executive MBA approaches management development in a new and exciting way that embraces all sectors, public, private or not-for-profit. The programme’s over-arching goal is to develop competencies that drive success in the modern, IT-enabled, knowledge-based economy. Focussed on exploiting tangible assets and problems of the ‘old economy’, the traditional MBA’s bias towards quantitative studies is now dated.
The locus of our programme is the management of intangible assets, especially human initiative and innovation, through the creation of inclusive and collaborative business cultures. Critical thinking, problem solving, personal effectiveness, communication, team working and leadership are some of the key skills addressed. Our graduates leave with a critical appreciation of a wide-ranging, tightly knit set of strategic, organisational and interpretive methods and underpinning theories.
The 24 month programme consists of 7 prescribed modules, 1 elective module and a management project
