Pre-arrival Information & Induction Activities

Welcome pack

On commencement of the Glasgow Caledonian MBA, participants will receive a welcome pack. The pack contains essential registration and orientation materials including:

• Students guide to Glasgow Caledonian University
• MBA programme handbook
• Semester timetable
• A guide to blackboard
• Finance and funding advice
• An overview of student services and support

Induction

An induction event will be held the week prior to the semester start date. Details will be forwarded to registered students. This event will:

• Introduce you to the key elements of the programme of study and staff members
• Review academic requirements and expectations
• Introduce university support services including ELS, the Library and Information Services
• Provide a forum for queries and concerns
• Facilitate peer networking
